GATE Results Out 2022
In short Indian Institutes of Technology is known as IIT. GATE ( Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering ) 2022 organized by IIT Kharagpur, recently announced its results at https://gate.iitkgp.ac.in.
The candidates, who appeared for the examination, can check their results on the official IIT KGP website. The exam was held on February 5, 6, 12, & 13 2022.
Candidates can access their GATE 2022 result through candidate login using their Enrollment ID/ Email Address and Password.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is conducted for granting admissions to postgraduate programs (Master’s and Doctoral) with Ministry of Education (MoE) and other Government Scholarships/Assistantships in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science/Commerce/Arts.
Qualifying in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission and/or financial assistance to (i) Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and (ii) Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Arts and Science, in the institutions supported by the MoE and other Government agencies. Even in some colleges and institutions, which admit students without MoE scholarship/assistantship, the GATE qualification is mandatory. Further, many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have been using the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering score in their recruitment process.
Candidates should note that the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is not an admission ensuring examination. Qualifying in the GATE examination does NOT guarantee admission/scholarship. Admission to any institute is fully dependent on the admitting institute’s criteria for educational qualification. Similarly, GATE qualification does not assure a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) job, as it depends on the recruitment procedure of the concerned PSU. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering committee is NOT liable for any legal obligations related to admission/job.
The scorecard for the successful candidates will be available for download from the Application Portal from Monday, 21st March 2022 onward. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2022 score will be valid for three years from the date of announcement of results.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering score would reflect the relative performance level of the candidate in a particular subject, which is quantified based on several years of examination data.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering score also is used by Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)/ govt. organization for their recruitment.
How to Check the GATE 2022 result?
- Step 1: Visit the official website of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2022 – https://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/
- Step 2: Click on the “GATE 2022” login, you will redirected to the login page.
- Step 3: On this page enter your enrollment id and password.
- Step 4: The result of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2022 will be displayed on the screen.
- Step 5: Download and take a printout of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering result 2022 for future reference.
