San Antonio, Texas — Gov.
Greg Abbott said Wednesday that the San Francisco-based Police Department should not be able to request information about people with terrorism ties.
Abbott’s comments came in a joint press conference with San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor.
The San Antonio mayor said the FBI has information that a terrorist had been arrested in San Antonio.
The FBI has the information that the suspect was arrested in the city, she said.
The San Antonio Metropolitan Police Department has a watch list for people with known or suspected terrorist ties.
Abbott has called on the San Fransisco police to be more transparent about their data collection.
